Warren (Bud) Chadbourne graduated from Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho, in 1966. He recieved his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Idaho in 1971 and went on to earn his Masters Degree in Music from the University of Idaho in 1973. While working on his Masters Degree he taught in the Butte County Public Schools. During that time every Arco Middle School student was either in choir or band. Bud went on to teach in the St. Maries schools for the next 24 years.
During Bud's years in St. Maries he was very active in IMEA and in the community, both musically and politically. He served as a city councilman for 14 years and assisted the city in obtaining a grant to construct a million dollar water treatment plant. In his spare time he drove bus for 25 years, rebuilt two homes, and assisted in the construction of an addition to his church building. For the past few years he has been assisting the Avery School District with their small school music program.
Bud and his wife, Joyce, had two children, Richard, deceased, and Natasha who lives in Nashville, Tennessee. He has a piano turning and instrument repair business, which he has run for 31 years, and enjoys model railroading, photography, and big game hunting.
