Teddy Snow graduated with a B.A. in Music from Adams State College (now University) in Colorado and completed some graduate work at both Idaho State University and Boise State University. Following her graduation she taught elementary music in Alamosa, Colorado for two years. When her family relocated to Twin Falls she started teaching elementary music there for the next 24 years.

During her years of teaching, Teddy was an active member of IMEA and she loved watching her former students participate in select vocal groups at state and regional conference. Teddy was chosen as the Idaho Music Educator of the year in 1998.

In addition to her regular teaching schedule, Teddy also directed the adult choir at her church, sang with the Magic Valley Chorale, and performed for many kinds of occasions at church and in the community. She has also helped organize and prepare elementary students for the annual Christmas in City Park. She still continues to serve civic, social and church groups with her music.
