Music Director for the Whitney Women’s Chorale (Boise, Idaho)
Whitney Women’s Chorale is currently accepting applications for the position of Music Director, to begin September 1, 2010. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented conductor to lead us in our 28th Season and beyond. Whitney Women’s Chorale is an all volunteer, non-auditioned women’s choir composed of approximately 30 singers who rehearse weekly and perform a wide range of music from classical to spirituals to modern anthems, both sacred and secular; an accompanist is provided for rehearsals and concerts. The Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy, a nationally recognized college preparatory institution, is accepting applications for a Band Director for the 2010-2011 school year. The Academy serves students in grades 6-12 who are willing to accept the challenge of preparing for college through our rigorous and disciplined academic environment. Experience in the full range of instrumental instruction will be required (groups may include orchestra, concert, jazz, and pep band. Candidates should have an extensive background in the music field and possess a professional work ethic. A certificate/endorsement in the assigned area will be required and applicants who do not possess one must follow the state required process to obtain an interim approval.
